Benty was born from the genuine concerns of parents when choosing clothes for their children – the desire for adorable, safe, easy-to-wear outfits that allow babies to move comfortably without worrying about skin irritation. The brand draws inspiration from the letter “B” in “baby,” stylized into a heart shape symbolizing unconditional love, while also being the first letter of “Benty.” Positioned around the mission of “bringing adorable, safe, easy-to-wear children’s clothing so mothers can choose with confidence and babies are always comfortable,” Benty targets young mothers (mẹ ơi – dear mom) with children from newborn to 18 months old, especially babies with sensitive skin requiring optimal gentleness.

As Vietnam’s fashion industry becomes increasingly digitized, where e-commerce has become the primary channel to reach busy parents, Benty recognized the need to build an online platform that not only sells products but also conveys the brand story. This was when the collaboration journey with CanhCam began – a strategic partner helping Benty transform core values into a smooth, approachable online shopping experience, guiding users from discovery to purchase decision in just a few clicks.

Our Approach

Ideas were sketched on digital moodboards: from categorizing products by age in months to align with babies’ rapid development, to integrating production process descriptions as part of storytelling. These discussions went beyond technical aspects to touch on emotions – how to make the website evoke the joy of choosing clothes for children, like flipping through a family lookbook. The design strategy emphasized trendiness yet friendliness – clean interface with pastel tones evoking gentleness, mobile responsive so mothers can shop on their phones while holding babies, and smooth conversion funnel from homepage to checkout, reducing cart abandonment by clearly displaying the safety value of each product.

Key Features

  • Age-Based Product Classification System: CanhCam designed a unique product grouping and size filtering system based on children’s developmental stages, helping parents easily find products suitable for their child’s age without complex measurements. This is a UX solution optimized specifically for busy mothers’ shopping behavior – when time is precious and size accuracy is paramount.
  • B2B Channel Integration on B2C Platform: Unlike typical fashion websites focused solely on retail, CanhCam built the “Collaborate with Benty” page directly on the e-commerce platform with a clear process: receive request → consultation & sample confirmation → transparent quotation → production → quality inspection → delivery.
  • Optimized Cart with “Quick Add” Feature for Multiple Variants: The design features a “Quick add to cart” button allowing parents to select size/color and add products in just 1-2 clicks – aligning with mothers’ “fast and bulk” purchasing behavior (often buying multiple sets and sizes at once). This practical UX improvement shortens the purchase journey and increases average order value.
  • Dynamic Promotion System Displayed on Homepage: The design team configured a promotional code system with visual countdown timers, clear application conditions, and “Save code” functionality – optimized for running sale campaigns, stimulating conversion, and attracting new customers. This is a marketing automation tool integrated into the platform, enabling Benty to flexibly implement pricing strategies without complex technical intervention.

Children’s fashion is not just clothing; it’s cheerful laughter, first steps, and a mother’s peace of mind as her baby freely explores the world. The design and content structure cater to both retail shopping experience and agency operations, aligned with the brand’s expansion vision.
